Overview

Create an icon to accompany an existing wordmark for a reptile husbandry online database. The icon should clearly represent a reptile while looking unique.

Solution

The main goal of this project was to play around with negative space and create a unique reptile icon to stand out from the wide array of reptile icons in the market.

The first review showed the client multiple in-progress icon concepts.

For the second review, the chosen icon concepts were flushed out and color was introduced.

The client picked the icon that resonated the most with their vision and it was built out into the various lockups needed for business and social media.
