Overview

Adding texture to paper crafts is a popular trend, but hand stitching is time-consuming and tedious. Punch needles are a product already on the market but have not been introduced as a tool for crafters to use.

Product

With the Stitch Happy Pen, I took the concept of a punch needle and added some innovation. It was designed with a built-in spool holder to keep thread tangle-free and out of the way. The magnetic frame holds paper tight to prevent creasing and elevates the paper so the needle does not pierce your workspace.

Packaging

As with all packaging I do for We R Memory Keepers, education is a main priority. Since this was a product that crafters would be unfamiliar with I chose to show the tool through an acetate window and provide imagery of how the tool is used to help our customers understand how they can use this tool. I also included imagery of some projects to get the customer excited.
